Solitude

Today’s challenge is about Solitude and what it means to me. Solitude can mean many things. To me, solitude means to be alone. I had a hard time finding a subject for this picture. Everywhere I looked, no one or item was alone. It was hard. Finally, I found an opportunity to take a picture of my cat, Synder.

We were also challenged to follow the Rule of Thirds of photography. This is fun because it takes me out of my comfort zone of always centering the picture.

Synder is banished.

I really like this picture because it tells a story. You can tell by her face she is alone. She isn’t happy and just wants attention. She can’t venture downstairs because we have a small dog. She hates him. He is only allowed to stay on the main level. She now lives upstairs and stays away from him.

Sincerely,

Leslie
